They are seeking a Junior Android Software Engineer to develop Android applications using Kotlin, enhancing customer experience and supporting business initiatives. Responsibilities:

Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Design and implement new Android functionalities that are testable and performant, following best practices and code standards. Collaborate within the technical systems and understand their impact on organizational outcomes. Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies, participating in all Scrum rituals. Ensure compliance with technology security and industry regulations. Identify and fix software defects. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing. Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for projects and features. Develop software independently, writing testable and efficient code. Create technical requirements and design documents. Support deployments and resolve deployment issues. Collaborate with team members to solve technical problems. Respond to customer inquiries regarding software behavior. Mentor junior developers. Qualifications:

Required: 2-4+ years experience with database management systems. 2-4+ years experience in coding, testing, and designing software. 2-4+ years experience with software development methodologies. BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Proficiency in at least one major programming language. Knowledge of coding syntax, functions, and object-oriented patterns. Experience with environments, Docker, containers, and cloud-native development. Understanding of APIs, data stores, and dependent systems. Knowledge of design and architecture patterns. Ability to analyze situations and determine appropriate actions. Effective communication skills in English. Ability to break down projects into manageable tasks. Preferred: Experience triaging coding problems or defects. Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Analytics, and instrumentation for monitoring. Knowledge of accessibility best practices. Bonus: experience with AndroidTV/GoogleTV and FireTV app development. Company Information
