Position Status: Non-exempt
Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a super outgoing Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant to be our Patient Care Leader of the _____________ team!

Kids Care Dental & Orthodontics is a northern California based practice that offers comprehensive services including preventive dental care, orthodontics and oral surgery for every gap-toothed, mischievous, silly, giggly smile. Our company sees only private-pay and PPO insured patients in beautiful private offices. Our staff enjoys competitive compensation and group benefits including group health, dental, vision, life/AD&D and a 401(k) savings plan.
Scope And Responsibilities The Patient Care Leader is responsible for overall patient flow and the delivery of care so that each child Kids Care serves receives the highest quality clinical care and a first class experience each and every time. The Care Leader is a working assisting position with additional responsibilities that include but are not limited to: managerial reporting; service execution; training; daily management of the team; interaction with doctors; hiring recommendations; and problem solving. The Orthodontic Patient Care Leader works closely with the Area Manager and Practice Manager to ensure that the Company’s Mission, Purpose and Beliefs are being supported and the overall vision is executed upon.
Specific Responsibilities
Daily management of the clinical team’s operations including schedule changes, patient flow, and the overall delivery of care
Resolves problems by clarifying the issues involved; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions
Ensure that Kids Care excellent customer service is delivered and surpassed to each patient
Provide regular feedback to the Orthodontic Business Manager on employee performance and take an active role in leading the employee’s annual review and any disciplinary action
Responsible to successfully onboard and train all new staff, as well as lead and coach other team members
Assist the Area Manager, the Orthodontic Business Manager and the Practice Manager in the execution of any revised or new company policies
Order and maintain dental supplies in a cost effective manner according to defined budgets
Maintenance and repair of office equipment
Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc…)
Ensure the team is always provided with a safe and clean working environment and that our patients are wowed by the overall appearance of our office
Assist Practice Manager with employee work schedules (time off, call-outs, coverage, etc.)
Traditional duties of a Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant
Other duties as assigned
Desired Background
Must have current and active state certified RDA license and OAP permit
Affinity for helping and training others
Strong demonstrated leadership skills
Can-do attitude with problem solving skills
Upbeat personality is a MUST
Loves working with children

Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
