**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Team Leader - Workforce Development Programs reports to the Program Manager and supports program staff, participants, service delivery, grant management, and administrative duties. Goodwill San Antonio workforce development programs connect targeted populations with education, training, and career placement.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Upholds and models Goodwill's mission, core values, and servant leadership philosophy. Assist manager in ensuring program fidelity through developing processes and services, supporting staff, grant management, performance, training, and partnerships. Assist with monitoring program functions, including case management, intake and assessments, participant follow-up, progression, service quality, and overall team performance. Support in developing program to include process, service model, and service delivery. Develop program training documents, job aids, and work instructions. Develop supportive and trusting relationships with program participants and identify barriers to education and employment success. Support Program Manager with management of grants, reporting requirements to ensure program and agency compliance, data collection, ETO report building, and accurate file maintenance. Assist with training and onboarding new team members. Analyze program data to evaluate the program's performance, identify gaps and assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve program performance. Collaborate with Goodwill's Business Relations Manager and other internal and external sources on employer recruitment strategies Represent and promote Workforce Programs at public speaking events, community resource fairs, career fairs, and community meetings. Schedule and help facilitate program activities, outreach, events, and training sessions; coordinate with other Goodwill Program Leads and Community partners to provide client support services, foster new partner relationships and develop connections for future relationships. Support program staff with caseload management, barrier removal, enrollment and/or re-engagement into education, career training, and/or employment. Vet community resources, education, and training programs to validate alignment with participant needs, agency mission, and values. Oversee and manage specific assistance requests, processing, and distribution according to agency guidelines and policies. Provide direct services to participants, including intake, assessments, eligibility screening, enrollment support, financial aid assistance, job placement, etc. To accommodate business needs and objectives, other duties may be assigned by leadership..
**REQUIREMENTS**
Bachelors degree (required for NXT Level) Equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of Education (3) years experience in the non-profit, social services, workforce development, career school or other related fields Case management experience a plus Experience with grant programing a plus. Skilled in communicating verbally and writing effectively; skilled in organizing and presenting educational material. Experience in workforce development and community partnerships is preferred. Must maintain flexibility regarding work availability and hours to support program needs. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
