Description
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team and play a key role in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and leading design and development activities. In this position, you will guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. Your technical leadership will be crucial in integrating requirements, design, and technology, and ensuring the successful implementation of new plans, designs, and systems.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
Experience with administering Linux or UNIX systems, including RedHat or CentOS Experience with configuring and updating firewalls and routers Experience with applying Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrading administrative tools and utilities Experience with providing support to IT systems, including day-to day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of all of client server, storage, or network devices Experience with drafting technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes, including updating as needed Knowledge of network/networking principles Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication

Experience with Vertias NetBackup Experience with Apache NiFi Experience with cloud computing Experience with analyzing and documenting system processes, build procedures and system infrastructure Experience with automated configuration management Experience with troubleshooting standard daemons and tools Experience with Linux-related shell scripting Experience with NiFi operations and administration Experience with using WLANs and VLANs
Benefits
Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $215,000 - $258,000.
