$125,000 – $140,000 Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Apex Developer with 5+ years of experience to help optimize and expand our Salesforce CRM platform. This role will involve hands-on development, unit testing, application customization, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define business, functional, and technical requirements.
Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations within Salesforce.
Manage Apex code changes, bug fixes, and new development efforts.
Configure and customize Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, roles, and permissions.
Create and execute unit, integration, and UAT test plans.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Ensure operational support, enhancements, and best practices are applied across the Salesforce platform.
Partner with architects on continuous improvement of Salesforce architecture and governance.
Build applications using Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework.
Develop custom controllers, extensions, and triggers.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs.
Contribute to documentation and enforce application standards and development procedures.
Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce configuration.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and development best practices.
Proficiency with APIs and integration tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Oracle).
Background in Agile development environments.
Solid understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with Salesforce unit testing and deployment pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required); Platform Developer II preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) is a plus.
Working knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and enterprise integrations.
