$120,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr About the Team The Enterprise Data Strategy team leads the development and execution of our enterprise data lakehouse strategy. About the Role As a
Senior Data Architect , you will design and implement high-quality data models and architectures to meet the organizations analytical and operational needs. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT, and analytics teams, you will ensure our data structures are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical data solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership : Shape data architecture strategies for complex, end-to-end projects; effectively communicate data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Architecture & Modeling : Design scalable, high-performance data architectures to support analytics, machine learning, and business reporting needs. Data Integration : Build and maintain robust data pipelines and integration frameworks to unify data from various sources. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with business analysts, data product owners, governance teams, and data scientists to define and evolve data models. Data Strategy Execution : Translate business requirements into data models and architecture patterns that are adaptable and forward-compatible. Documentation : Maintain clear, detailed documentation of data structures, flows, and architecture decisions. Innovation & Best Practices : Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies; continuously improve architecture practices and tools. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data engineering 1+ year of experience in physical and relational data modeling 1+ year of experience with big data pipelines, architectures, and optimization techniques 1+ year of experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred Qualifications Experience using
Erwin
or similar data modeling tools Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in large-scale data environments Familiarity with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Spark, DBT, Snowflake, Delta Lake) Seniority level
