Programmer Analyst

A top Financial Services client is seeking a Programmer Analyst with Firco experience to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with deep experience in FircoSoft or similar sanctions screening platforms and a strong background in financial services compliance. Responsibilities: Building, configuring, and integrating FircoSoft Continuity & Trust or similar sanctions screening solutions Managing and optimizing Oracle and MS SQL databases, including performance tuning and data modeling Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and compliance Leading Agile delivery efforts using Scrum or Kanban methodologies Mentoring junior team members and managing vendor resources (onshore/offshore) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business 4–7 years of IT experience or equivalent education/training Strong proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to manage complex projects and solve problems using IT best practices Experience working in Agile environments Experience in banking or financial services, particularly in OFAC, AML, KYC, and consumer/wholesale/wealth business units Familiarity with architecture diagrams, code bases, and data mapping templates Strong analytical and debugging skills
