Description: The GBS Key Account Executive is a sales role working side by side with GBS Brokers in the sale and service of employee benefits for our current, and prospective clients. The AE will work collaboratively with the Broker and Account Management teams in ensuring an exceptional client experience. The AE establishes and builds upon strong relationships with the client / carrier and develops an understanding of all aspects of the client. The AE will handle complex client issues and make recommendations to best service GBS clients. This position establishes strong relationships with internal peers and develops an understanding of all aspects of the client. Must handle complex client issues and make recommendations by utilizing client service, administration expertise and carrier resources. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Act as a liaison between clients and GBS to consult in decision making, including renewal decisions. · The AE assists the broker teams in growing, developing, and acquiring new business relationships through new and existing clients. · Create and deliver compelling presentations of insurance products and vendors in accomplishing 1 `benefits costs and goals of our clients. · Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations. · Develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets and foster long-term partnerships with clients. · Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. · Provide regular reports on sales performance, client interactions, and market trends to management and relevant teams. Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of existing compliance rules including ACA, ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.

Sound reasoning and judgment

Effective verbal and written communication skills including presenting in front of groups and phone and email communication.

Proven use and understanding of Microsoft Office.

Must be able to use Excel extensively in analysis and daily reporting of departmental goals.

Technically savvy and proficient with ongoing improvements in enrollment processes.

Able to keep data management system updated accurately and timely.

Performance Expectations: Ability to consistently attend work, meetings and required training or staff events.

Must work with respect, must get along with diverse personalities.

Must meet or exceed team and overall company expectations.

In person, visits to client offices, some hybrid (at-home) work permitted. Working Conditions / Essential Functions: This position enjoys the benefit of working in a newly constructed and beautiful open concept office building. Our facility is state of the art with common areas, stand-up workstations, beautiful views, an amazing lunchroom, and wonderful amenities. Employees are provided with modern ergonomically proven workspaces. Daily work includes computer interfacing, data entry, communications (electronic and physical), movement throughout the office, attending meetings, etc. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move objects (typically 0 - 10 lbs.), visually monitor information/data on a computer screen, The working environment described above provides a detailed representation of what employees might encounter in the workplace while performing the essential duties of the job.
