About the Role

Fluidstack is hiring a Data Center integration & Operations Director to own the critical stage between build-out and handover to data center operations and own the operation of the datacenter. You will lead the commissioning, integrated-systems testing, quality assurance and site-readiness phases to ensure seamless transition from construction to deployment. The position will lead a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and controls specialists, validating that every megawatt of power, every litre of cooling water and every packet of network traffic performs exactly as designed for ultra-dense GPU workloads. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering, GPU-specific deployment challenges, and data center operational best practices. Your job is to ensure our facilities are fully operational, scalable, and performant from Day 0. Focus

Own all engineering operations during late-stage construction and go-live phases, directing the completion of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works and supervising integrated-systems testing.

Lead commissioning and testing for power, cooling, and network infrastructure.

Partner with design and construction teams to validate build quality.

Establish standardized workflows and tooling for deployment monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability.

Be the escalation point for early operational issues at new sites.

Establish documentation and training procedures that ensure a seamless hand-over of capacity to infrastructure and data center operations teams.

About You

B.S/B.E/B.A degree in CSA/ Electrical / Mechanical engineering discipline.

10+ years of experience in large-scale industrial or data-center operations.

Demonstrated leadership at least two hyperscale or high-density facilities from late-stage DC integration through 24 months of live operation.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure deployment environments.

Strong understanding of electrical, cooling, and network commissioning for dense compute clusters.

Familiarity with GPU workloads, cluster setup workflows, and reliability engineering.

Excellent communication and crisis management skills.

Based at the Datacenter location but otherwise travel extensively and be on-site during critical commissioning and go-live periods and subsequently relocate to the DC location.
