We are seeking a
Senior DevOps Systems Engineer
to join our growing team with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS. This program will provide development and operational support for the deployment, maintenance, tuning, and monitoring of the AEA suite of tools.
Job Description
Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and more.
Experience working with large teams and demonstrated projects, preferably with AWS and scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding how to set up a CI/CD pipeline.
Understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and collaborate closely with peers and other teams.
Focus on understanding customer needs and translating those into functional, production-ready code and infrastructure.
Salary range: $140,000 - $235,000, based on qualifications and experience.
Requirements
7 to 20+ years as a systems engineer responsible for planning, designing, and leading high-volume software implementations.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; five (5) years of additional SE experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience with AWS services (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Registries).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
CWIP IAT Level 1 required.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
