Roles and Responsibilities:
Designing and Developing Electrical Systems:
Schematic Design:
Create detailed electrical & PLC control schematics, diagrams, and blueprints for various projects using EPLAN. Component Selection:
Choose appropriate electrical components such as transformers, switches, and circuit breakers for specific applications. System Integration:
Integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless operation of overall projects. Knowledge in Siemens PLC programming. 2. Testing and Commissioning: Control Panel:
Design Electrical panel / systems Testing & commissioning:
Conduct various tests to ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of electrical components and systems also support for commissioning at site. Data Analysis:
Analyze test data and make necessary adjustments to improve the performance of electrical systems. 3. Project Management: Planning:
Develop project plans, set goals, and define tasks and resources required for successful project completion. Coordination:
Coordinate with different teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the timely delivery and installation of electrical systems. Budgeting:
Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints. 4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintenance:
Develop maintenance procedures for electrical systems and ensure regular upkeep to prevent failures and downtime. Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 5. Compliance and Safety: Compliance:
Ensure that electrical systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes. Safety:
Implement safety protocols and guidelines to protect personnel and equipment from electrical hazards. 6. Research and Development: Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in electrical engineering and incorporate innovative solutions into projects. Research:
Conduct research to identify new materials, methods, and technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and project reports. Reporting:
Provide regular progress reports to supervisors and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans. 8. Client Interaction: Client Collaboration:
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and address concerns. Proposal Writing:
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines. 9. Leadership and Teamwork: Team Leadership:
Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians within the team. Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Educational Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
