Jobright.ai Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for their Hodgkin application, which aids life sciences researchers in designing computer-guided antibodies. In this role, you will focus on front-end development and customer experience, collaborating with backend teams to enhance the application. Responsibilities: • Designing and developing on the front end, and gateway services • Obsessing over the customer experience • Working on a team focused on the fullstack user experience (on/off-console) • Partnering with the backend team to deliver amazing customer features Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience • Experience programming with at least one software programming language • A biological science background (or computational biology) - someone who knows the difference between antibody and antigen • A willingness to learn (and be curious) Preferred: • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Company: Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services -- now widely known as cloud computing.
