Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend appropriate solutions. Store associates are also expected to promptly resolve customer concerns, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high store standards. They are tasked with delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.
Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
The selected individual will work at stores within a 7-mile radius of store #705314 at 26 Clayton Street, Dorchester, MA 02122; store #725044 at 100 Mayor Thomas J McGrath Highway, Quincy, MA 02169; and store #701887 at 435-437 W. Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and Spanish
Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations
Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without accommodations
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
Experience selling paint and related products
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment

Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting suitable products and services
Build trustful relationships with customers
Process sales transactions accurately and according to policies
Achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually
Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse
Tint and mix products as per customer specifications
Stock shelves and set up displays
Clean store equipment
Load and unload delivery trucks
Assist with deliveries as needed
Keep areas in stock and presentable
Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss options with customers
Follow inventory control procedures
Suggest sales improvements
