Trident Technical College Business Technology Department is seeking a results-driven

IT Workforce Training Program Director

to lead and manage continuing education programs within

Computer Information Systems

and

Network Systems Management . Reporting to the Dean, the Program Director will oversee daily workforce training operations, ensuring alignment with industry needs and institutional goals. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and updating curricula to reflect current industry standards and emerging technologies. Scheduling and coordinating courses in collaboration with faculty and staff. Recruiting, training, and supervising adjunct faculty to ensure high-quality instruction. Maintaining office hours and serving as a primary contact for program inquiries. Assisting with budget planning, course scheduling, and advisory committee meetings. Teaching courses. This position requires a master’s degree in business administration or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in management, business, accounting, or information technology, along with at least two years of related work or teaching experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a commitment to workforce development and student success. Ability to adapt to technological changes and troubleshoot hardware/software issues is essential. The candidate will teach both credit and non-credit courses, with schedules including evenings and weekends at various locations, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
