$97,500.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr POSITION Director, Strategic Communications - Corporate & Consumer LOCATION New York, NY (Hybrid) THE COMPANY Full Picture is a collective of entrepreneurial-minded, cross-industry experts who dream big, connect the dots in unexpected ways, and consistently deliver legacy-defining initiatives for our clients. Through our four divisions – Executive + Brand Strategy, Production, and Strategic Communications - we forecast trends, identify key moments, and capture the public’s interest to bring our clients’ ideas to life. OVERVIEW This Director position offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful communications strategies for a roster of high-profile clients in the corporate and consumer sectors. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will manage exciting accounts, build strong media relationships, and mentor rising team members. This role is ideal for a seasoned public relations professional with a passion for creative strategy, exceptional media relations skills, and a proven ability to deliver outstanding results. You will be responsible for, in collaboration with the division's Vice President, managing these clients, developing and executing communications plans, and securing impactful media coverage. RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the VP to lead day-to-day client management for a portfolio of key accounts that include nonprofits, female executives and entrepreneurs, consumer brands, and corporate clients. Develop and execute innovative communications plans that drive results and exceed client expectations. This includes crafting compelling press releases, media alerts, pitches, and other materials. Secure prominent media coverage across national and regional outlets, spanning print, broadcast, and digital platforms. This includes pitching and coordinating broadcast segments and in-studio appearances. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and influencers across corporate, business, and consumer outlets. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development. Contribute to a positive and collaborative agency culture. QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of experience in public relations, with a minimum of 3 years focused on corporate and consumer brands. 2+ years of experience in client management. Agency experience is required. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field. Established media relationships across all platforms, with a proven track record of securing placements, including strong contacts with short-lead national and regional editors (weekly magazines, newspapers, online outlets, blogs). Deep understanding of social media and its strategic application in PR to increase brand awareness and media coverage. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work. A keen interest in the lifestyle, business, CPG, corporate, and consumer industries is essential.
