Job Description: Information Technology Architect positions offered by JABIL INC. (St. Petersburg, Florida). Serve as a strategic partner for the business, identifying real problems and business requirements and translating them into a design and solution architecture consistent with Jabil's methodology and strategy. Understand SAP, manufacturing business processes, manufacturing systems, supply chain solutions, and overall application landscape in order to research existing solutions that could satisfy business needs. Contribute to the standardization of applications, and participate in the Solutions Review Council. Interact, coordinate, and negotiate activities between all of the different COEs. Act as a Segment Liaison with Enterprise Architects and COE architects from other groups when global solutions need to be defined. Assess merits of alternative technical approaches and gain consensus for best approach. Learn, follow, promote, and improve recognized methodologies to design and deliver solutions. Ensure that the non-functional requirements are satisfied including, but not limited to, security, disaster recovery, and availability. Define processes and methods necessary to support delivery/deployment.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field and 10 years of experience in the position offered or 10 years of experience working with information technology.
Also requires 10 years of experience working with SAP Sourcing and Procurement, Production, Planning, Warehouse Management, and Sourcing and Logistics.
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree and 5 years of experience.
Additionally, requires 5 years of experience in technical project leadership, business analysis, or SAP implementations.
Requires 4 years of experience working with SAP MII interfaces with Shop Floor Systems.
Requires 2 years of experience performing SAP ABAP programming and debugging ABAP code.
Experience may be acquired prior to completion of degree and can be acquired concurrently.
Position reports to the office in St. Petersburg, FL. Work from home is possible but candidates must reside within commuting distance.
