We aim to improve efficiency, predictability, and transparency in the industry. Job Title: Consultant, Restoration and Remediation

Location: Remote (USA)

Role: Full time / Exempt

Compensation: $60k-$90k

Role Overview

You are a systems-savvy problem solver with experience in restoring compromised systems and implementing remediation strategies. You may have worked as an IT Engineer, System Administrator, or Cybersecurity Consultant, and are now looking to apply those skills in incident response. You will collaborate with Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) teams, diagnose problems, and support clients with empathy and clear communication during cyber events. Responsibilities

Support post-incident recovery efforts with DFIR teams Restore compromised systems, including data recovery and system hardening Develop and execute remediation plans based on technical and operational requirements Reimage, rebuild, and reconfigure endpoints, servers, and affected services Use systems administration skills to restore and configure environments Troubleshoot network issues and resolve infrastructure problems Contribute to digital artifact collection and forensic evidence gathering Investigate malware infections, unauthorized access, and system integrity issues Implement endpoint protection and access controls under supervision Document actions and findings clearly and thoroughly Participate in after-hours support as needed for 24/7 incident response Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Knowledge of Windows, Linux, MacOS security features Experience with firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, endpoint security tools Understanding of cyber attack techniques and IOC identification Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in high-pressure situations We encourage applicants to apply even if they do not meet every requirement, as we value willingness to learn and growth.
