This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on technical expert who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments. You'll oversee system architecture, lead project execution, and mentor a growing team, while directly contributing code to critical initiatives. As a trusted strategic partner to the executive team, you'll help shape engineering direction and align technology solutions with ambitious business goals. Accountabilities:
Architect and develop scalable, high-performance systems that support the company's evolving product and infrastructure needs Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while proactively addressing risks and technical challenges Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance across frontend, backend, and middleware layers Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and operations to align engineering output with business strategy Uphold and promote engineering excellence through coding standards, QA processes, and system reliability Foster team growth through mentorship, skill development, and a strong culture of ownership and accountability
Requirements
6+ years of experience in engineering roles, ideally in direct-to-consumer, telehealth, or CPG sectors, with proven results delivering scalable solutions Deep understanding of both frontend and backend systems; capable of leading a small team and contributing hands-on to development Experience with middleware, SSO user management, and familiarity with ERP/EMR or Healthie systems is a plus Proficiency building SaaS platforms and point solutions; ability to design and deploy systems autonomously when needed Strong project management, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with an ability to translate technical language into business context L4-level engineering capabilities, with a proactive and collaborative leadership style Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
