Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created to provide integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers, both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.
Position:
AV Engineer / Technician
Location:
Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
Setup, test, and operate AV equipment (projectors, video walls, mics, etc.)
Support WebEx, Zoom, and in-room conferencing solutions
Maintain AV asset inventory and ensure technical readiness
Respond to urgent AV issues during live events
Assist in system upgrades and user training
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (no experience required); or
Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or
High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
Active CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months of hire
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and within a team
Effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Friendly demeanor, good interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications
Experience supporting end users and providing technical assistance over the phone
Problem-solving skills and ability to think abstractly
