Base pay range $18.00/hr - $18.00/hr Purpose : The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is responsible for spearheading growth across all areas of Student Agencies Inc. Their role is focused on revenue generation, business expansion, strategic innovation, and long-term customer value. This role combines high-level strategic thinking with cross-functional leadership, guiding both internal initiatives and external market-facing efforts.

The CGO will partner with the President, Chief Media & Marketing Officer, and all General Managers to design and execute growth plans across each business vertical. They will use data, technology, and innovation to unlock new revenue streams, expand into underserved markets, improve customer retention, and support the launch of new ventures within SAI.

This is a strategy-first role—perfect for a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial leader who’s ready to accelerate Student Agencies’ trajectory over the next 5–10 years.

Hourly Requirement:

This position requires the manager to work part-time (15–20 hours per week) during the academic year. A summer commitment is open to discussion.

Job Description

The following outlines the major responsibilities and expectations for the Chief Growth Officer. This is a comprehensive role focused on aligning every agency under a unified vision for strategic growth—while fostering innovation and launching new initiatives along the way.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Growth Planning

Lead the development of long-term growth strategies across all SAI businesses Align each business’ expansion plans with the overarching goals of the company Eliminate organizational silos and build a company-wide roadmap for scaling impact Identify new markets, customer segments, and business models for expansion

Revenue Generation & New

Markets

Drive top-line growth by identifying and acting on revenue opportunities Launch new markets, products, or services within the SAI umbrella Support businesses in monetization, upselling, and pricing strategies Explore and execute strategic partnerships that support growth goals

Customer Acquisition & Retention

Improve customer lifetime value through retention strategies and user insights Use digital tools (e.g. Google Ads, Instagram, SEO) to drive performance campaigns Collaborate with the Chief Media and Marketing Officer to ensure brand and growth strategies are aligned Build scalable funnels that bring in customers while keeping acquisition costs low

Market Intelligence

Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis Evaluate business performance and use data to iterate on growth initiatives Lead the implementation of A/B testing, feedback loops, and data-informed decision making Package key findings for internal presentations and strategic check-ins

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work directly with GMs to support their growth roadmaps Serve as a thought partner for brand, marketing, tech, and operations Help ensure every department is aligned on the same vision for growth Develop frameworks and tools that can be adopted across businesses
