What You’ll Do

Serve as the functional lead on full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), leveraging deep domain expertise to drive solution architecture, business process transformation, and value realization.

Facilitate client discovery sessions and lead fit-gap analyses to align business requirements with D365 F&O capabilities, ensuring scalable and future-ready solution designs.

Develop and own key project deliverables including solution blueprints, functional design documents, and configuration workbooks, collaborating closely with technical architects and global (nearshore) delivery teams.

Provide subject matter expertise across core F&O modules (Finance and Supply Chain), with the ability to articulate leading practices and industry-specific accelerators.

Support project governance by contributing to integrated project plans, risk and issue logs, and stakeholder reporting in partnership with the PMO.

Lead client workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training sessions to drive adoption and ensure successful change management.

Troubleshoot issues during SIT/UAT and provide guidance on data conversion, interface development, and cutover planning.

Stay current on Microsoft’s product roadmap and proactively identify opportunities to leverage Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to extend solution value.

Travel up to 30% to support client engagements.

What You’ll Bring

8+ years of ERP consulting experience with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and legacy Dynamics AX platforms.

Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-phase ERP programs in a systems integrations (“SI”) environment, including experience with global rollouts and multi-entity deployments.

Deep functional knowledge of D365 F&O modules, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, and Procurement.

Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead executive-level discussions, drive consensus, and influence decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore resources.

Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, and familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Experience migrating from Dynamics AX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is considered value-add.

Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations are highly desirable.

Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) or Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Principal level, the base salary pay range is $122,000 to $225,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
