Description Key Responsibilities for Assistant Superintendent Commercial Construction in Newport Beach Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure timely and quality execution. Monitor project schedules, safety compliance, and site cleanliness. Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and progress photos. Support with field problem solving, quality control, and conflict resolution. Attend and contribute to coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors. Profile A successful candidate for Assistant Superintendent Commercial Construction in Newport beach 2+ years of experience in commercial Building and construction, preferably in a field-based role. Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and schedules. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety requirements. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam). High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
