Position: Fund Operations Senior Analyst

Investment Operations Mission Statement:
Investment Operations generates operational alpha for Boston Partners and its clients through continuous process improvement. We accomplish this by constantly examining our processes and proactively engaging internal/external parties to develop innovative solutions that enhance investment performance, optimize workflows, and mitigate operational risk. Effective communication throughout the process enables the Investment Operations team to deliver impactful results and superior client service.
Position Summary:
The Boston Partners Fund Operations group is responsible for the administration and oversight of various comingled vehicles, directly issued by Boston Partners and/or through sub-advisory relationships. This role will assist the Director of Fund Operations primarily through providing oversight of the Administration, Audit, and Financial/Tax reporting for commingled funds.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with Fund Administrators/Transfer Agents as well as Sub advised relationships
Review and maintain expense accruals to ensure appropriate accruals and fee rebates are applied to funds
Invoice review and approval for payment with Fund support teams.
Perform daily/monthly NAV sign off where appropriate
Fund Audit, Tax & Regulatory Support
Support Director of Fund Operations with Audit Prep and Financial Statement review Oversee preparation and distribution of relevant Tax information (K-1, Canadian commingled and US Mutual Fund Distributions) Assist with compiling required data for assorted filing requirements (Form 5500, FinCen 144, NH Banking Department, etc.)
New Product Support
Provide guidance in the establishment of new commingled vehicles from concept to completion Provide diligence on expected expense and expense ratios of the vehicles Work with the Client on-boarding team to assist with the structure and setup requirements of new vehicles
Continuous Process Improvement
Identify, propose, and develop workflow enhancements centered on the following considerations:
Impact on investment performance Effect on operational risk Influence of compliance and regulatory guidelines Ability to harness technological innovation Efficient vendor management
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required; Completion or progress towards Master’s degree or industry designations desired but not required 5-7 years of investment operations experience with majority in a Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, or Financial Reporting role Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with various fund structures and share classes (e.g., mutual, UCIT, institutional, commingled, limited partnerships) preferred Willingness to work in a 5 Day in office environment Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to work flexible hours, as required The above declarations are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job described, nor are they intended to be such a listing of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
