Chicago, IL.

This is a

full-time, onsite position

, working

Monday-Friday,

with required availability from

7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

and

ability to workevery other weekend. Key Responsibilities Decontaminate, clean, and disinfect medical instruments and equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage; report any deficiencies to appropriate personnel. Assemble and package instruments and equipment for sterilization using appropriate techniques and materials. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and low-temperature sterilizers. Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate records of all processed instruments, including tracking, logging, and labeling. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures. Participate in quality improvement activities, including audits and training programs. Follow all infection control protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Stay current with industry standards and participate in continuing education as required. Position Requirements Education & Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited sterile processing program or certification (e.g., CRCST) preferred. Experience & Skills: 1+ year of experience in sterile processing, surgical services, or a related healthcare environment is preferred. Working knowledge of medical instruments, sterilization equipment, and infection control standards to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Hourly Rate:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications). Benefits Package:
