* Providing post-acute LPN nursing care to residents with varying medical needs * Tracking the vital signs, physical condition, and mental acuity of residents * Completing intakes of residents, including the documentation of medical histories and health concerns * Assisting with medications, including proper administration, verification, and monitoring * Keeping track of the medical records and charts of residents * Helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for residents * Ensuring proper storage and inventory of medical supplies * Setting up and assisting with immunizations, IVs, and phlebotomy procedures * Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable policies and regulations * Supporting the training and orientation of new clinicians
Qualifications and Skills
* Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) * Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program * Completion of high school or GED/equivalent program * Minimum of 6 months experience as a LPN , or related role * Lifting requirement of at least 50 lbs
