About The Role Rippling’s financial platform supports products handling billions of dollars and paying millions of workers weekly. The payments risk capabilities are crucial for onboarding, fraud prevention, and secure money movement. We seek a Product Manager to lead development and scaling of financial integrity in Rippling payments, collaborating with engineers, analysts, operators, legal, go-to-market, and finance teams to enhance customer vetting, fraud detection, and risk reduction while maintaining a top-tier product experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical roadmap for payments risk and compliance, working with engineering teams.

Design adaptable onboarding requirements across products.

Build and maintain internal tools for risk and compliance teams.

Implement ML-driven and data-focused fraud detection capabilities.

Manage vendor integrations for transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and case management.

Oversee automated underwriting, customer risk scoring, KYC, and AML processes.

Create technology to streamline onboarding and prevent fraud.

Collaborate with multiple product teams to leverage risk and compliance systems.

Work cross-functionally across departments to ensure effective use of the risk platform.

Minimum Requirements

8+ years in product management or founding experience.

3+ years in payments, risk, compliance, or platform roles within fintech.

Proactive, action-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage multiple products and features simultaneously.

Strong skills in understanding complexity and simplifying user experiences.

Deep technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Customer-focused mindset.

Salary Range USD 165,000 - 288,750 per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
