The General Manager in Training (GMT) will learn to oversee and coordinate the operation of a Groundworks-affiliated branch, following organizational standards. The GMT will develop leadership skills to guide office, sales, and production activities, ensuring organizational strategies are executed to maximize customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability. Initially, the GMT will operate in a training capacity to understand the Groundworks business model and organizational drivers. During training, travel throughout the region may be required to support development. The position may involve relocation to a new branch location, which could be acquired, greenfield, or through internal movement within the company. Flexibility to relocate within or outside the region is necessary, as expansion and growth are frequent at Groundworks, North America's leading and fastest-growing foundation repair and water management company. Job Responsibilities Coordinate with regional leadership and chief officers to develop operational goals that are ambitious yet achievable, supporting long-term company objectives. Develop a skilled, engaged, and empowered workforce to serve customers effectively. Implement strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure organizational success. Collaborate with departmental managers to meet branch and departmental goals. Ensure projects are completed successfully, on time, and to customer satisfaction. Maintain the health and safety of personnel. Support training and development initiatives for employees. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in residential construction, home improvement, renovation, sales, or related fields, combined with relevant education. Knowledge of foundation repair industry terminology, methods, and best practices is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Proven ability to lead diverse teams. Ability to multitask, delegate, and pay attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to lead teams through change. Requirements Full-time, onsite position. Willingness to relocate as needed within or outside the region.
