Job Description The Senior Director of Clinical Shared Services is responsible for the development, management, and continuous improvement of clinical compliance activities for all Chamberlain University students. Additionally, the Director is responsible for practicum and fieldwork operations in the Chamberlain University post-licensure/graduate programs. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations and financial management; market development of an inventory of sites and preceptor/mentor agreements; direct management of practicum/fieldwork coordination personnel, compliance specialists, administrative coordinators, and contract specialists; delivering superior service to students engaged in a practicum or fieldwork experience in a Chamberlain University post-licensure program; and achieving targeted service metrics for practicum/fieldwork services shared across all post-licensure programs. Oversees Chamberlain University’s clinical compliance for all students participating in clinical experiences. Manages practicum and fieldwork operations for all post-licensure/graduate programs. Leads multiple teams responsible for coordination, approval, contractual arrangements, compliance, and evaluation of clinical experiences. Tracks key academic and business metrics; seeks continuous improvement of the practicum/fieldwork student experience. Collaborates with colleagues supporting program directors and deans to ensure alignment with the university’s mission and outcomes. Ensures compliance with legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards, including timely reporting. Addresses questions and concerns regarding clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations. Develops and manages budgets supporting clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork. Implements strategic plans to support growth and process improvements. Participates in academic planning to establish scalable processes for practicum/fieldwork identification, site approval, and student preparation. Uses technologies like SalesForce to improve efficiencies and generate reports on compliance, utilization, and satisfaction metrics. Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare agencies and community partners for clinical experiences. Works with other departments to establish interdependent, scalable processes. Serves as subject matter expert on practicum operations and requirements, presenting to internal and external stakeholders. Participates in industry initiatives to stay current in clinical compliance and practicum operations. Manages hiring, training, and evaluation of practicum and compliance staff. Ensures delivery of superior service to students. Performs other duties as assigned, including compliance with all policies and standards. Qualifications Master's Degree required; experience in a similar role, healthcare, or business administration preferred. Minimum of 2 years of operational excellence in a healthcare-related field required. Practicum/fieldwork coordination or market development experience preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including presentation skills. Knowledge or experience working with healthcare partners and practicum providers preferred. Ability to develop business relationships via multiple mechanisms (phone, email, in person). Strong relationship skills with experience in problem solving, consensus building, and negotiation. Some travel up to 20% required. Additional Information The expected salary range for this position is between $100,171.61 and $181,034.70, based on experience, location, and other factors.
