The selected candidate will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days a week and remotely one day. Our recruitment team will provide additional details.
The incumbent will manage activities within the Money Transfer Department (MTD)/Deposit Services Unit, focusing on the Account Management section: 1) Opening, updating, and closing accounts; 2) Rate maintenance; 3) Managing Time Deposits; 4) Monitoring inactive and dormant accounts; 5) Checkbook orders and Starter Kits; 6) Managing risks related to BSA/AML and OFAC Regulations. The role requires demonstrating skills to prioritize and delegate work effectively, identify and resolve productivity, efficiency, and quality issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include staff management, transaction processing, system liaison, and customer support.
Workflow Management
Ensure staff output meets process requirements.
Approve daily transactions according to procedures.
Identify, report, and resolve discrepancies.
Implement cost-effective action plans to resolve operational issues.
Ensure compliance with regulations and advise management of deviations.
Provide training for new staff.
Prepare statistical reports for productivity, efficiency, and audit purposes.
Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues.
Quality Control
Monitor customer documents and reports for regulatory compliance.
Report and resolve discrepancies timely.
Evaluate and improve procedures for productivity and quality.
Systems Maintenance
Ensure all systems and PCs operate properly and are maintained.
Implement practices to promote efficiency and productivity.
Assist with new product implementation and upgrades.
Support contingency planning.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years banking experience, with deposit and accounting background.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Strong accounting skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Thorough understanding of BSA/AML and OFAC Regulations.
