They should have experience in running and submitting WCHL certifications, including working with Microsoft on customer support tickets to resolve issues encountered during testing. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in configuring and submitting VMware ESXi server certifications and be knowledgeable about the VMware vSphere ecosystem, including setting up complex test environments and using the latest VMware infrastructure tools. A good understanding of Windows and VMware internals is essential for debugging and triaging issues during the bring-up process.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will work with hardware and platform software teams (BIOS, BMC) to bring up new releases of Windows and VMware ESXi. A good understanding of Intel and AMD processor architectures is required to debug issues during system bring-up. You should be able to troubleshoot at any level in the OS boot process, including PCI, NVMe, and network drivers. Knowledge of evaluating CPU and I/O performance issues and bottlenecks is essential. Proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting and WinDbg for troubleshooting Windows OS issues is expected. Familiarity with Broadcom and Windows support tools for case submission and vendor collaboration is necessary to meet Oracle deadlines. The role may require on-call support for OCI fleet operational issues to ensure optimal data center operation. Strong communication skills and vendor engagement are crucial for successful testing and certification of Oracle products.
