We are seeking an innovative and impact-driven Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy advanced analytics and Generative AI solutions. You will be at the forefront of transforming our global support model by developing predictive insights, automating performance intelligence, and powering scalable decision-making across a growing fleet of AR-supported sites.
This role blends core data science, machine learning, and GenAI capabilities with deep collaboration across engineering, product, and field support teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency in modeling and NLP, a track record of production-scale solution delivery, and passion for building analytics products that drive action.

Develop and deploy ML models to predict AR network risks based on telemetry, support tickets, and operational data. Design and prototype GenAI applications (e.g., summarizers, root cause generators, business Reveiws insight copilot) using LLMs via SageMaker, Bedrock, or open-source stacks. Partner with Data Engineers to ensure scalable feature pipelines and integration of modeling outputs into production workflows and customer-facing dashboards. Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and anomalies in AR solution performance and convert findings into recommendations for Support teams. Create human-readable narratives from structured outputs using natural language generation and summarization techniques to support field teams and leadership reviews. Lead experimentation efforts and drive measurable impact through AB tests or quasi-experiments across new support initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, TPMs, BIEs, and engineering to co-develop roadmap features and integrate predictive insights into our core platforms. Contribute to GenAI strategy, exploring new use cases, evaluating LLM models, and building reusable GenAI components for broader team adoption.
About The Team
The P&I team at Amazon Robotics is dedicated to developing and scaling analytics products and services across all functions of AR Global Safety & Support (GSS) organization. By leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and deep domain expertise, we drive efficiencies, mitigate risks, and ensure robust data integrity across all AR support functions. Our outcomes empower service and support teams across a global network of AR sites with predictive insights, proactive network monitoring, and comprehensive risk assessments, enabling an “Always Ready” support model. We also develop core data pipelines and infrastructure solutions to enable supportability and ensure availability of data-driven insights to our customers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science 2+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience 2+ years of data/research scientist, statistician or quantitative analyst in an internet-based company with complex and big data sources experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of statistical packages and business intelligence tools such as SPSS, SAS, S-PLUS, or R Experience with clustered data processing (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Map-reduce, and Hive) Master's degree or above in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science Experience with GenAI technologies\Expertise in Python, SQL, SageMaker (or equivalent ML infra), and data pipeline frameworks. Strong communication skills with experience translating complex findings into actionable business insights. Experience working in large-scale operational or hardware network environments (e.g., robotics, fulfillment, manufacturing) is a plus.
