The successful candidate will possess excellent legal research and writing skills, courtroom advocacy experience, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team-centric environment. Duties and Responsibilities Represent clients in removal/deportation proceedings before the Immigration Court (EOIR). Prepare and file motions, briefs, and other pleadings with EOIR and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration case law, regulations, and policy changes. Prepare and represent clients in asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and other forms of relieffrom removal. Prepare clients for hearings and interviews; represent clients at individual and master calendar hearings. Draft legal memoranda, case summaries, and affidavits in support of applications. Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to maintain accurate and timely case records. Communicate regularly with clients, government agencies, and court personnel. Work closely with firm partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters. Qualifications Juris Doctor; licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 2–5 years of experience in immigration litigation, preferably with removal defense and asylum. Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
