Senior Consultant, Healthcare Finance & Strategy - Managed Care Contracting

Requisition Number: 2235115 Description & Requirements The Managed Care Contracting team assists provider clients (health systems, physician practices, accountable care organizations, and more) in planning and executing their critical managed care functions. These functions include contract negotiation, modeling, rate benchmarking, and strategic planning. The team seeks a data-driven, client-service-focused candidate with a strong interest in provider contracting and negotiations. How you will contribute: Manage and support contract negotiations, including payor outreach, communication, review and redlining of contract language, and summarizing negotiated rates and terms. Develop and refine financial models to evaluate reimbursement scenarios across diverse provider types. Attend and occasionally lead routine client meetings, document key takeaways, and identify follow-up actions. Provide weekly updates to management on ongoing client engagements. Prepare client deliverables ensuring content accuracy, clarity, and visual presentation standards. Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic briefs to inform project direction and enhance deliverables. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related fields. 3+ years of relevant experience in Payor and/or Managed Care Contracting. Proficiency in Excel and other analytics platforms.
