Role Overview
The Director of US HCP Market Research will be a strategic leader responsible for independently designing, managing, and executing primary market research initiatives with healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, a sharp attention to detail, and a talent for crafting clear, data-driven stories. They will be responsible for sharing insights broadly across the organization to ensure key stakeholders are informed and insights are used to guide strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Insights Leadership | Lead high-impact market research initiatives that shape brand strategy, deliver market opportunities, and guide data-informed decision-making. End-to-End Ownership of HCP Research | Independently design and execute qualitative and quantitative primary market research. Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, clinical behaviors, and HCP perceptions. Commercial and Cross-Functional Partnership | Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams, translating insights into actionable recommendations that advance business objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for all HCP market insights, providing a deep understanding of the evolving landscape. Vendor and Budget Management | Lead the selection and onboarding of external research partners, defining project scope to align with strategic objectives. Ensure the application of cutting-edge, fit-for-purpose methodologies that keep the organization ahead of market trends. Maintain a disciplined approach to budget management, maximizing both the impact and efficiency of research investments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred. At least 12 years of experience leading quantitative and qualitative primary market research in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry; experience in MASH preferred. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights to guide decision-making. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently while consistently meeting deadlines. Team-oriented mindset with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence in our Conshohocken office three days per week. The remaining two days may be remote. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, conferences, or offsite meetings, depending on business needs.

Compensation:
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
