• Contribute to the verification and test of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft Flight Control System andits subsystems, such as inceptors, flight control computers, GNC algorithms, electricengines, batteries, and actuators. • Run verification tests in different hardware-in-the-loop test frameworks that includes theflight control computer, the flight control system, batteries, and electric engines. • Work directly with system architects and engineers to define test plans, verificationprocedures and review test results. • Continuously improve our processes to develop verification procedures, document testresults and manage the hardware and software configuration of the labs. • Execute test campaigns and develop test reports and dashboards. • Support the management of the lab equipment, the organization of the lab, and ensure thatthe lab is both a safe and enjoyable work environment. • Support the development of data acquisition and data visualization tools. • Automate the execution of tests, developing test scripts, and contributing to improve ourcontinuous integration and test environment. • Write and maintain the documentation for the lab tools and instruments, and generalguidelines for the lab users. • Support design work for Archer’s GNC systems. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Master’s degree in Aircraft systems Engineering, Unmannedand Autonomous Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 3 years of experience as Flight Controls Engineer, or arelated job title in which experience with eVTOL control systems, electric engines, electric actuators,flight controls computers, creating and executing test plans, and performing systems identificationwas gained. ALTERNATE EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft systems Engineering,Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering Controls Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 4 years of experience as Flight Controls Engineer, or arelated job title in which experience with eVTOL control systems, electric engines, electric actuators,flight controls computers, creating and executing test plans, and performing systems identificationwas gained.
