Job Description The Production Designer role involves scenic design, art installation, drafting, facility coordination, and creative project management from concept to realization. This is a hands-on role responsible for executing finished solutions and guest experiences across media, managing resources to complete projects. All employees are passionate about detail, anticipating needs, and enhancing the Level99 brand. The ideal candidate demonstrates honesty, integrity, a positive attitude, humility, and ownership of their work. Responsibilities Create detailed production drawings for scenic and art installations. Develop comprehensive design packages including drawings, renders, references, and overviews. Collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers on original scenic and experiential designs. Develop concepts from briefs through sketches and detailed drawings. Coordinate with construction teams during the design process. Recommend materials considering cost, safety, durability, and code compliance. Use 3D modeling tools (Blender, Revit) for design work. Oversee fabrication efforts to ensure creative intent and project goals are met. Document finishes and materials, organize final design packages. Create high-quality graphics and visual assets. Produce rapid concepts and previsualizations in 2D & 3D. Participate in design meetings, keep projects on schedule. Maintain schedules, estimate time, and report progress. Handle administrative tasks like timesheets and cost documentation. Keep workspaces organized and safe. Prioritize safety for staff and guests. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers. Lead and navigate difficult conversations professionally. Take initiative to improve guest experience and processes. Uphold brand and visual standards across all activities. Follow supervisor directions and manage time effectively. Maintain a positive attitude and motivate others. Perform other duties as assigned. Must-have Skills 2+ years in scenic and production design. Experience in all phases from concept to installation. Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud. Proficiency in Blender, Revit, Rhino, or similar tools. Strong visual design sense. Self-management skills. Excellent communication skills. Highly organized with attention to detail. Professional integrity. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and new technologies. Positive, energetic attitude. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays. Willing to travel for site visits or installations. Ability to work long shifts, stand, sit, climb stairs/ladders. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Other Desirable Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 3+ years in technical drawings and documentation.
