We are building the next generation of cloud security and need passionate engineers to revolutionize threat detection. As a Software Engineer on the cloud detection engine team, you'll design and implement systems processing billions of events across multi-cloud environments, working with technologies like custom query languages, event orchestration, and advanced correlation engines to detect cloud-based threats. Collaborate with security researchers to develop scalable detection capabilities, working at the intersection of distributed systems, data engineering, and security analytics. If you enjoy designing systems that identify threats with minimal latency and directly impact organizational security, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do
Lead backend engineering efforts from prototypes to large-scale applications Build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate threat intelligence Collaborate across teams to define and develop solutions Stay updated with the latest technologies and share knowledge with the team Mentor and be mentored on web, backend, and data storage technologies Continuously improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability Own your work in a high-trust environment Utilize technology stacks including Go, AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, GIT, Cassandra, Docker, Redis What You'll Need
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in data structures, algorithms, or distributed systems Understanding of scalability and distributed system concepts like sharding, partitioning, and concurrency Strong teamwork skills Knowledge of engineering best practices, testing, code reviews, and resilient architecture Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment Commitment to high-quality, well-tested, and regularly integrated software Bonus Points
Open-source contributions Experience with Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch Background in cybersecurity or intelligence fields Experience with programming languages, compilers, or language design Interesting hobbies Benefits
