Position Overview:
The person in this role will be responsible for deploying and managing highly available infrastructure. This individual will engage in technical research and development to enable continual innovation. They will ensure that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures comply with our security standards and are optimized to allow the business teams to perform their duties uninhibitedly. They will be self-driven, organized, and exhibit impeccable work ethic even in a lively work environment. This position will require rotated 24/7 on-call and after hours/weekend work as needed.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or Infrastructure roles
Hands on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments
Experience with hyper-converged Infrastructure technologies
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experience with monitoring tools (Logicmonitor, Datadog, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
Experience with automation and scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, Powershell and Terraform)
Firewall configuration experience (Sophos, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
Strong problem solving communication and documentation skills
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator
Cloud Platforms and a deep knowledge of their services
Automation and IaC - Terraform, Azure ARM, scripting
Monitoring - logging with native tools and third-party solutions
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in AWS and Azure
Automate infrastructure provisioning and system operations with IaC
Partner with data and platform teams for support
Implement and monitor cloud security controls
Optimize cloud spend and ensure high availability across services
Contribute to server and endpoint management automation
Standardize, document, and proactively monitor infrastructure, resource utilization, performance, and security posture

Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds Hearing Requirements:
Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed. Reading and Writing Proficiency:
Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively. Vision Requirements:
Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed. Technology Proficiency:
Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software. Effective Communication:
