About The Team

The GTM Strategy team at Workday is responsible for leading our go-to-market strategy development to accelerate growth, deliver high-priority initiatives and drive mid-to-long term GTM evolution. We drive GTM concepts from inception to viable product and beyond, address sophisticated business problems, and collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across Workday for strategy development and execution alignment. We partner closely with senior leaders within the Global Customer Operations organization to achieve business objectives.

About The Role

As the Principal, GTM Strategy at Workday, you will drive our GTM Strategy forward to bring the power of the Workday platform to our customers and partners! You will work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization, and support design and execution of critical initiatives.

This is a highly visible role that requires high intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead GTM Strategy design for growth initiatives in new AI offerings, business models, and ecosystem Drive market expansion initiatives for international growth through new market entry and existing market acceleration Architect the mid-to-long-term evolution of our GTM model through optimization of structure, segmentation, and coverage models Craft compelling data models, informative analytics, and executive-level presentations to communicate strategic recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams across GTM (Sales, Solution Consulting, Partners, Value Management, RevOps, Marketing, CX), Product, Corporate Strategy, Business Ops, Finance and beyond in strategy, planning and activation Assess market and competitive landscape, technological trends, and perform insightful internal and external research, benchmarking, and analysis

About You

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in global Software and SaaS Sales/GTM strategy (and/or) 8+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting focused on Sales/GTM engagements with tech companies Demonstrated ability to deliver cross-functional SaaS GTM initiatives from strategy design to execution and scale Understanding of strategic and operational dependencies across

Other Qualifications:

MBA or equivalent preferred; top-tier Strategy consulting experience strongly preferred Motivated, self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for details Strategic and structured problem solver with analytical and financial modeling skills Excellent communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $190,800 USD - $286,200 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $161,100 USD - $286,200 USD
