Position: Head of Development We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee site sourcing, real estate negotiations, and construction execution across the U.S. You will be building the future of SEV—one office at a time—working directly with a small internal team and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the experience and drive to scale a high-growth brand without layers of red tape. Responsibilities: Real Estate & Site Selection Own end-to-end real estate strategy for new office locations nationwide Source, evaluate, and secure retail spaces aligned with SEV standards and demographics Leverage data-driven tools like Buxton for market analysis and site selection Lead LOI and lease negotiations with legal and executive teams Build broker relationships and gather local market intelligence Construction & Design Execution Manage construction projects from pre-construction to opening Oversee contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure timely and on-budget completion Drive cost efficiencies while maintaining premium aesthetics Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design consistency and operational readiness Implement scalable project tracking and cost control tools Leadership & Strategy Lead with a hands-on approach, actively managing projects Build and mentor a lean internal team and manage external brokers and vendors Report regularly to the CEO on pipeline, timelines, risks, and opportunities Identify strategies to accelerate expansion and improve build efficiency Ensure compliance with all regulations at each site Qualifications: 10+ years in multi-unit real estate development, preferably in retail, wellness, or hospitality Proven experience managing site pipelines and overseeing multiple builds across states Strong lease negotiation, landlord management, and construction oversight skills Experience with tools like Buxton or Placer.ai Knowledge of key US markets Success in reducing costs while maintaining brand standards Self-starter with good judgment and a proactive attitude Comfortable in a small, entrepreneurial environment and willing to travel Nice to Have: Experience scaling a consumer brand or wellness concept Background in architecture or construction management Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary Service discounts Flexible scheduling Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Location & Flexibility: This role is remote and open to candidates across the U.S., preferably near a SEV studio for operational proximity.
