A growing biopharmaceutical company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Patient Marketing to lead all patient-facing marketing efforts for a specialty product. This strategic and hands-on leadership role will define and execute patient marketing strategies, with an emphasis on branded direct-to-consumer (DTC) engagement through an omnichannel approach. This position includes team leadership responsibility and cross-functional collaboration to drive impactful, compliant marketing initiatives that support revenue goals and patient impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of strategic and tactical patient marketing plans in partnership with Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, and Analytics Oversee branded DTC campaigns using a full omnichannel approach (e.g., digital, CTV, brand websites, CRM) Conduct market research to identify patient insights, define the value proposition, and inform messaging and education strategies Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Patient Advocacy, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical, to align on external engagements Manage creative and research agencies, ensuring alignment to goals, budget efficiency, and high-quality deliverables Oversee the development and review of patient-facing materials, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and medical standards Interact with patient communities and external advocacy partners Recruit, coach, and manage direct report(s), fostering high performance and development Monitor timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to align with commercial objectives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred Minimum of 12 years in pharmaceutical brand marketing, including at least 5 years of experience in patient/consumer marketing Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing omnichannel branded DTC campaigns, including digital and television components Experience leveraging CRM strategies and platforms for patient activation Background in specialty or rare diseases is a plus Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including executive-level communication Proven ability to drive innovation and adapt to a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills High integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical standards Willingness to travel up to 30% Seniority level
