Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - On-Prem Leader The Lead role of Data Center Operations, Management, and Support, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of operations, management, and support within a data center. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the data center and maintaining the integrity, availability of data and systems and strategically work with client on optimizing the physical Data Center footprint. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of operations, management, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize data center processes and ensure efficiency and reliability. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments, such as IT, network engineering, and security, to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution. Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance and Tech stack upgrade of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and power and cooling systems. Manage and monitor the availability, capacity, and performance of data center systems, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Implement and maintain data center security protocols, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems as well as work on physical access management for data centers. Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity. Perform Asset management and conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Manage vendor relationships, including procurement, contract negotiation, performance evaluation and asset management. Prepare and present reports on key operational metrics, highlighting trends, challenges, and recommendations for improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data center operations, management, and support, and implement best practices accordingly. Strategically discuss with client on optimization and cost effective approaches. Qualifications we seek in you! Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within a data center or IT operations. Strong knowledge of data center operations, including server administration, network management, and storage technologies. Proficient in using data center management tools and monitoring systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of data center security protocols and best practices. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Excellent business process and change management skills with ability to develop strategy, evaluate efficacy, influence stakeholders, drive implementation and measuresuccess. Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information. Ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple tasks with competing priorities. ·

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
