Controller
to oversee financial operations and ensure fiscal integrity. Job Summary
The
Controller
will lead the financial functions of the agency, including accounting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. This position is vital to maintaining our financial health and supporting organizational growth, particularly in a highly regulated home health environment. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliations) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP, Medicare/Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines Oversee cost reporting and reimbursement procedures for federal and state programs Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning Supervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable) Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management (healthcare/home health preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare finance, and reimbursement models Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing and cost reporting Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year , depending on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with employer match Opportunities for advancement and professional development Location
