Kia Georgia, Inc. Support the development and implementation of systems and standardized processes, ensuring accuracy, as well as training and supporting the material management team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support development, testing, and implementation of SAP MM inventory management system. Assist in developing standardized work processes for SAP MM system utilization. Monitor system and process to validate master data in SAP and ensure accurate part calculations. Minimize on-hand inventory and enhance logistics and material handling efficiency for JIT suppliers through continuous improvement. Manage CKD or North America parts packages, maintaining open communication with the supply base. Support workshops with the Consolidation Center during start-up, mass production, and model change operations. Coordinate and implement engineering changes. Ensure timely creation of CKD part Purchase Orders. Optimize inbound deliveries and internal part conveyance through continuous improvement. Reconcile inventory discrepancies found during cycle counts. Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement countermeasures for inventory issues. Oversee expediting parts to prevent line impacts. Drive root cause analysis and countermeasure plans for BOM, inventory, and master data discrepancies, using PDCA cycle. Control inventory obsolescence, especially regarding Mass Production E&O and model year changes. Monitor KPI metrics and provide feedback on Glovis supply effectiveness, addressing non-conformities. Review ordering policies periodically and develop new processes to improve lead times and operational efficiency. The above duties are characteristic of this role and may include additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, with 2-5 years of experience in Production Control within manufacturing, preferably automotive. Experience in automotive materials management/inventory control is a plus. Flexibility to support production including weekends and staggered shifts. Ability to exercise judgment in decision-making affecting operations and policies. Skills and Knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP and e-Kanban systems. Experience with CKD planning and import/export Material Planning is desirable. Additional Details
