Job Description: Work directly with business development officers, relationship managers, investment bank, capital markets teams, and/or product specialists to develop, structure, analyze, covenant, document, fund, and close deals. Handle a broad range of transactions from large corporate/private equity to core middle market, with direct contact with clients, financial sponsors, and intermediaries, including accountants, legal counsel, and examiners. Must understand BANA and BABC credit policies and regulatory requirements to respond promptly during underwriting, documentation, and closing processes. Job Responsibilities: Analyze new prospects for credit quality and Asset Based Lending potential, including financials and projections. Evaluate collateral across various industries for asset-based facilities. Assist in negotiating term sheets and credit agreements. Prepare internal documentation for new opportunities, including pre-screens and final approvals. Collaborate with risk management for approvals; present structures to risk committee. Coordinate with outside counsel and third parties to document and close transactions. Required Qualifications: 4+ years experience in credit, underwriting, and structuring corporate lending transactions for AB Underwriter; 7+ years for AB Sr. Underwriter II. Deep knowledge of legal documentation (commitments, term sheets, credit agreements, intercreditor agreements). Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally. Skill in navigating multiple client and organizational resources to achieve outcomes. Desired Qualifications: 10+ years of asset-based lending experience. Familiarity with asset-based lending across industries, including sector risks and nuances. BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 40 Pay Range:
