Under the direction of the Director, CCA Learning the Clinical Education & Learning Manager will play a pivotal role in transforming the employee experience at Commonwealth Care Alliance by creating and delivering high-quality, innovative learning experiences. Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director, CCA Learning the Clinical Education & Learning Manager will play a pivotal role in transforming the employee experience at Commonwealth Care Alliance by creating and delivering high-quality, innovative learning experiences. This role is responsible for the development and management of a wide variety of learning programs including Clinical Education, New Employee Orientation, Talent development support and alignment of learning programs to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The Clinical Education & Learning Manager, will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, e-learning associates, and other stakeholders to design media-rich, interactive digital content, ensuring alignment with sound learning theory and instructional best practices.

In this role, the Manager will evaluate and refine online courses through the Quality Matters Review process, develop multimedia solutions, and maintain high standards for staff learning outcomes. They will also lead project planning, articulate methodologies, and provide insights on best practices to leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility, resilience, and inclusion while addressing the dynamic learning needs of employees, with consideration of Health Plan and Care Delivery contexts. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality products within deadlines, are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Utilize various instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create and develop instructional materials for clinical staff, enhancing their knowledge and confidence in their responsibilities. Create, facilitate or co-facilitate educational webinars, instructor-led training, eLearning, and other educational activities or toolkits. Translate complex content into relevant business terms using plain language guidelines. Evaluate and update existing instructional content to ensure content meets accessibility and educational quality standards. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs of the target audience. Work cross-functionally with departmental leadership to ensure staff receive training that meets regulatory and contractual requirements. Develop project plans and milestones, monitor and communicate project status, and address issues related to learning programs. Use tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, and Canva to create immersive educational experiences. Employ a consultative approach, focusing on requested outcomes and results. Design using innovative techniques to ensure sustained adult learner engagement and skills application. Measure learner progress and course effectiveness to ensure learning objectives are met and content aligns with their needs. Research and implement new teaching methods, educational tools, or project management systems as appropriate. Prioritize work by proactively adapting to shifting organizational needs.

Required Education (must Have)

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Education (nice To Have)

Master’s Degree

Desired Licensing (nice To Have)

Behavioral Health, Nursing, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality licensing/certification

Required Experience (must Have)

3-5 years’ experience in instructional design Experience working in healthcare or non-profit human services organizations. Foundational background and experience in healthcare quality measures.

Desired Experience

3-5 years’ experience working with project management systems (Smartsheet or similar) 3-5 years’ experience developing E-Learning modules.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (must Have)

Creative instructional design and development capabilities, including coursework, blended and e-learning, job aids, and assessments. Exceptional facilitation and training delivery skills. Ability to interact with senior management to provide updates and insights into best practices for ongoing priorities. Excellent at employing a variety of communication techniques. Outstanding writing, editing, and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Effective project management skills Efficiently process feedback and adjust to deliver high-quality products within project timelines. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Ability to navigate learning management systems.
