We are seeking a proactive and innovative AI Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, including emerging Agentic AI workflows. This role blends leadership in AI strategy with hands-on responsibilities in data engineering, ensuring the seamless integration of AI models into our data infrastructure. This role requires expertise in AI technologies, a strong grasp of finance concepts, and proven experience working with Azure Cloud and Microsoft Copilot Studio. Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and innovative AI Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, including emerging Agentic AI workflows. This role blends leadership in AI strategy with hands-on responsibilities in data engineering, ensuring the seamless integration of AI models into our data infrastructure. This role requires expertise in AI technologies, a strong grasp of finance concepts, and proven experience working with Azure Cloud and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to optimize business processes and decision-making. Act as a project manager to oversee AI project lifecycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Leverage Copilot Studio to build and customize AI-driven solutions, streamlining workflows and enhancing user experiences. Collaborate directly with the Chief Information Cybersecurity Officer to assist the firm's cybersecurity strategies, including security controls, threat detection, and incident response. Utilize SQL to manage and analyze datasets, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying for AI applications. Stay current on AI, cybersecurity, and finance industry trends to ensure cutting-edge solutions and robust security measures. Document technical processes, AI model performance, and cybersecurity protocols for transparency and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the finance industry, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the AI industry, with a strong understanding of AI model development and deployment. Proficiency in working with various AI providers via APIs and integrating them with legitimate sources. Hands-on experience designing and deploying Agentic AI systems—capable of executing multi-step workflows, autonomous task management, and self-directed reasoning Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integrating AI models with external tools and data sources to enhance application functionality. Practical, industry-level experience with fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering Strong AI-related Python programming knowledge. Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying. Experience with Copilot Studio for building AI-driven applications. Proficiency with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory) for AI development and deployment.
