The Mortgage Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting and providing quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects for the company and in support of key business decisions and executive management for our Lending division. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $80,000-$112,000 + Annual Bonus.
What you'll do :
Develop complex ad hoc financial analysis in support of key business decisions, including but not limited to cost-benefit, ROI, and other analyses.
Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
Report current or expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision making.
Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements and required reporting for the Lending division.
Provide analytical support to senior team members on profit and loss modeling and data consolidation across multiple systems.
Reconcile key forecast variances from reporting data and business systems.
Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, month-end reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support management decisions.
Work with IT analytics resources, systems, and related analysts.
Develop trends and reports from raw data with strong data mining skills; make recommendations to senior management.
Consolidate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy in reporting packages.
Provide analytics on assignments including cash flow modeling, risk analysis, asset valuation, and performance statistics.
Identify process improvements while delivering timely, accurate analyses and reports with minimal support.
May serve as a lead or subject matter expert in the absence of the manager.
Support the development of presentations for senior leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent.
Minimum of five (5) years of financial analysis experience in mortgage or real estate-related industry.
Mortgage lending experience is strongly preferred.
Experience interacting with corporate accounting and HR compensation departments is a plus.
Must have financial modeling experience.
This position is hybrid and requires periodic visits to the Anaheim or Aliso Viejo office to meet with the finance team and/or lending executives.
