Assistant Store Manager / Key Carrier

Job Description Roses / Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores by providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve. Summary As a Roses / Roses Express Assistant Manager / Key Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store to meet company goals. Responsibilities: Assist with hiring, training, and developing store team members as delegated by the Store Manager. Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager. Help protect and secure company assets, including cash. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors. Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean to company standards. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly team members. Implement corporate directives and assist with merchandise receipt, return, and freight management. Meet or exceed productivity standards. Assist in ordering, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Ensure the sales floor is optimized for sales daily. Implement directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin. Qualifications: Previous retail and management experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive movements.
