at Dollar Tree are responsible for: Managing the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in both operations and merchandising. Performing all opening and closing procedures. Implementing operational and merchandising direction from the Store Support Center. Maintaining high standards of merchandising, placement, store signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Assisting in maximizing your store's profit contribution. Protecting all company assets. Maintaining excellent customer service. Creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of retail management experience. Experience dealing with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus. Strong productivity management skills in freight processing. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
